The Horn of Africa Youth Network (HoAYN) operates across the East and Horn of Africa region, uniting a diverse coalition of youth-led and youth-serving organizations dedicated to advancing peace, governance, climate resilience, gender equality, and economic empowerment. Our work connects grassroots youth movements with regional and continental platforms, ensuring local voices inform policies and decisions that shape the future of the region.
HoAYN’s network spans ten countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Somaliland, South Sudan, Sudan, Uganda, Eritrea, Tanzania, and Djibouti and includes a vibrant mix of civil society organizations, youth networks, and community-based initiatives working across thematic areas. Our members include:
